- Re-read the ‘Ma famille’ text on p 4
- Circle or highlight all the words that are new & impede your understanding of the message. Write them in a list so that we can create a quick word bank together in class tomorrow
- Add your Pictionary-style drawing to the circle on p 5 to show the members of your family
- Review the examples of ways to use ‘avoir’ and ‘être’ in sentences p 2
- As optional extra practice, try writing a personal paragraph that includes one sentence of each example (7 sentences total)

Block 2 & 3 students: Please bring a food item or some spare change to donate to the food drive tomorrow!
- Prepare for your interpersonal assessment tomorrow by saving screen shots to your phone to talk about your ‘ideal house’ or ‘future dream home’ with partners
- Review your unit vocabulary & structures and think about how you will describe and explain your choices/dreams
- ‘structures’ = remembering the correct placement and agreement of describing words such as “J’adore les murs roses dans cette chambre.”
- ‘structures’ also = shows knowledge & use of basic foundations of the language which allows others to understand/make sense of what you are saying
- ‘connecting words’ = parce que, à cause de, en raison de, car BUT also words like “donc, alors, malgré que, tandis que, ensuite, et puis, ainsi, aussi ….”
- ‘unit vocabulary’ = words for rooms and items in our homes, words to describe, words to show where things are (position & placement in a space) & chunks of language/phrases learned thoughout the unit
