To be ready for class on Monday, please

  • make sure you have reviewed the questions & thought through answers on p 84-86
  • finish your itinerary for your travel plans. Remember to include:
    • info about the flight & hotels (or other accommodation)
    • how you will get around the area once you have arrived in France
    • how long you will be there
    • what you want to do
    • info about landscape or city/cities
    • historical landmarks & monuments/ popular tourist sites
    • what you would do if you had more time/money etc
    • AND anything else that will help you to personalize your conversation about your planned holiday

***If your destination is one of the overseas departments or collectivities, don’t forget to mention if a language other than French is also spoken in the region & any other cultural info that might be interesting

    • Screenshots of some of the places you will visit will make it more interesting for your partners
    • Prepare notes for your itinerary in English so that you don’t have to memorize your plans – BUT remember that you have to be able to talk about it in French!
    • Carefully review your unit package to make sure you are including key vocabulary & structures
    • Remember that this is a conversation – NOT A PRESENTATION – so be prepared to ask and answer questions
