  1. Focus on oral communication by
    • sharing p 47 paragraphs with partners
    • completing the oral practice on p 60-61 (Part B) – if not done on Tuesday
    • completing oral practice on p 62-63 (Part C & D)
    • participating in a role play to choose between the two restaurants in Québec City

     2. Watch the following video & complete the activity on p 73 of the unit book

To be ready for class on Monday

  • review the sentence builder on p 76 & do the activities on p 77-78

  • review learning check ins for Chapters 1, 3 & 5
  • review of chapter work up to the end of Chapter 5
  • read Évangéline p 24 
  • watch/listen to this version of the song & fill in the blanks on p 25
  •     watch/listen to this version with the English subtitles to hear the whole song & understand it better
  •    read Chapter 6 & do p 22-23

For class on Monday

  • Read Ch 7 – 9 & complete the unit package activities to improve comprehension

  • End of unit Napoléon interpretive reading assessment
  • Retelling of the stories with partner
  • Review verb patterns on p 93-95 of the ‘Moi, Ma Famille & Mes Amis’ unit book. Write the past tense for each in the ‘je’ form. Then, practise!
  • Listening Workbook: continuing work on unit 11, 12 or 13 (depending on what you have already completed)

By Friday:  review new learning from today & continue with listening practice
