To be ready for class tomorrow, please

  • make sure your class work is complete (extra handouts with statements & questions)
  • spend some time reviewing the structures and vocabulary from your unit for your end of unit assessment this week
    • think about the words or structures that you needed to look up or check to complete today’s work
    • focus on developing your confidence in using verbs correctly in sentences, common expressions and main vocabulary to talk about school, weather, where you live

  • be sure to complete all of the online Language Gym activities (two new activities were added today)
  • complete your paragraph on p 3 using connecting & sequencing words along with the structures for comparing (from the board)

check your class work for details that will improve your paragraph

    • Do you have an introduction?
    • Did you include some details about the neighbourhood and describe what there is to do in proximity to your home?
    • Did you consider places that a tourist might want to get to from your neighbourhood? Places they will need during their stay (for groceries, take out, public transit to get to other places, etc)?
    • Did you conclude with something appropriate such as “Have a great time/week/etc”?
