- shared paragraphs about what they do after school with partners & practised asking/answering follow up questions
- reviewed the differences in question form when asking about one person vs. more than one person (ex. Comment est ton ami? vs Comment sont tes amis? | Comment s’appelle ton frère? vs Comment s’appellent tes frères?
- worked on developing accuracy with word choice & structures for talking about a typical weekend p 46 – 50
To be ready for class next week, please
- make sure that your class work is complete
- set aside 15 minutes for studying/mastering the sentence builder on p 46
***There are 7 assignments in your online Language Gym class. They will close in approximately 2 weeks. You may practise at your own pace & redo activities as many times as you’d like. You will have some class time to work on these next week, but if you want some extra practice time please start at the bottom of the list and work up.

- talked about their screenshots of clothing & practised using the language on p 62 in conversation
- reviewed the topics & vocabulary on p 63 – 71 with partners & brainstormed questions for each topic

- spend time studying/mastering vocabulary in preparation for unit assessments

- continued to practise the structure for talking about what they will do in the future p 20
- looked at one option for French-language opportunities for young people in Canada https://englishfrench.ca/explore/
- accessed the following site to find jobs related to their interests & strengths https://www.onisep.fr/Media/Multimedia/Quiz-de-positionnement/Des-metiers-selon-mes-gouts
- wrote the results of the quiz on p 12
- worked on/started brainstorming an action plan for the future on p 13 (*If you already have post-secondary education plans, I encourage you to look at what opportunities exist at the institution of choice for travel & study abroad and include them as part of your action plan)
