FR 11 Block 2
To be ready for this week
We will continue working on your end of unit project tomorrow.
Remember:
- To review/edit your writing for accuracy
- Use your French class resources
- Minimal use of translator … maximum 10 vocabulary words … must be included in “Le Glossaire”
- Think of ways to work around unfamiliar vocabulary using words & phrases that you DO know!
- Check structures
- agreement of adjectives
- placement of describing words
- correct use of past tense (imparfait or passé composé?) + agreements when needed
- correct verb endings/conjugation for all tenses
- Make sure that you are “strategically” using vocabulary and language that you have learned/been exposed to through the years (rather than thinking or writing in English and trying to literally translate to French)
- Ask yourself what you are including/how you are communicating that says “This is Grade 11 level”
- Take a look at the presentational rubric (in your course outline) for reminders of how your text will be assessed
