- set aside time to review unit vocab & structures to prepare for the end of unit write (Wednesday)
- bring a device to work through the online Language Gym tasks

FR 11 Bloc 4
For class today, students
- had another opportunity to demonstrate their interpretive skills (reading from the intro unit)
- started the new unit & learned about the evolution of the French language
- watched this video
- read the transcript with partners on p 3 of the unit package
- looked at some examples of how French has changed on p 4-5
To be ready for class tomorrow
- do some quick research on the 6 symbols of France shown on the cover of your new unit & take notes so that you are ready to discuss in class tomorrow

- started reading & discussing the Roch Carrier story “Le joueur de basket-ball”
For tomorrow
- make sure you have highlighted & written notes on the page for new vocabulary or structures
- write questions (minimum 3/page) to ask partners & discuss in class tomorrow – up to end of p 26
- be prepared to discuss the story with the whole group
