- practised summarizing & asking/answering questions about the events of Chapitre 2 in conversation
- read aloud for fluency and pronunciation & worked through corrections of Chapitre 2 work
- started Chapitre 3

- You will have class time tomorrow to work with partners
- Chapitre 4 reading and activities are due on Monday
***You are welcome to come to French class on Wednesday morning between 9:30-11:30 for extra help or re-teaching of specific language structures. Please let me know before you leave class tomorrow if you are planning to attend.
FR 11 Bloc 4
For class today, students
- reviewed the non-fiction texts & work from last week
- had another lesson on using the past tenses in French
- started working through the re-write of their stories set in the Middle Ages
To be ready for class tomorrow/next week
- The re-write of your story is due on Monday, May 2. You have to submit the first draft with your re-write. Please take the time to learn from/understand the corrections necessary or to make concrete changes based on the feedback given.
***You are welcome to come to French class on Wednesday morning between 9:30-11:30 for extra help or reteaching of a specific language structure. Please let me know by the end of class tomorrow if you would like to come in.
FR 12 Bloc 5
In class today
- discussed the weekend, the French election and their thoughts about Earth Day
- practised the phrases/vocab on p 12-13 for pronunciation
- started working through ‘le réchauffement climatique’ portion of the unit p 20

- Please complete the interpretive activities on p 20-21
- If you have extra time, review the vocabulary & phrases from p 8-13 of the unit and/or work on the online Language Gym assignments
