For class today, students
- reviewed yesterday’s interpretive work & pronunciation of new vocab
- shared their paragraphs from p 37 with partners & received feedback
- continued interpretive reading on p 38-41 & completed the activities on p 42-43
To be ready for class next week
- bring your ‘Un Royaume en danger’ package to class on Monday
- make sure class work is complete
- review texts & unit booklet for new vocabulary & comprehension … end of unit interpretive is scheduled for Thursday, April 14th
***Castle research will be shared on Wednesday/Thursday next week
- take notes in English, but be prepared to discuss in French
- save screenshots to your phone to make your conversation with partners more interesting
- make a point of using unit vocab & structures

To be ready for class next week
- Write a paragraph (or so) about Louis Cyr – the film, the children’s book & the research you did about him
- Challenge yourself to take some risks to use new vocabulary & structures
- use the questions we already discussed & any other relevant opinions or facts to guide your text
- What did you find out that was not included in or differs from the film about his life?
- What words do you need to be able to speak or write with some detail?
- What phrases could you use to share your opinions about parts of the story or the film in general?
